Tender Round 5 under the NSW Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap is now closed.
The tender was seeking an indicative 1 GW of Long Duration Storage for projects connecting into existing network infrastructure or access rights networks in declared Access Schemes. The tender also aimed to allocate up to an initial 3.98 GW of Access Rights in the South West Renewable Energy Zone. If the initial allocation is not met in this tender, additional capacity may be awarded in future tender rounds.
This tender was designed to support the delivery of high-quality electricity infrastructure that is in the long-term financial interests of NSW electricity consumers.
