
Nevenka Codevelle is responsible for leading the Australian Energy Market Operator’s (AEMO) independent subsidiary, AEMO Services and brings over 25 years’ experience in the energy sector.
Prior to joining AEMO Services, Nevenka held the role of Executive General Manager, Government and Stakeholder at AEMO where she was responsible for engagement with key industry, market, consumer, and government stakeholders to facilitate strong and ongoing partnerships and collaboration.
Starting her career as an infrastructure and regulatory lawyer, Nevenka went on to have a variety of roles in the energy sector spanning government and industry. This included more than 13 years with APA Group as a member of the leadership team that helped grow the business to be included in the ASX50.
Nevenka also founded and led the Energy Charter, which brought together the energy industry to deliver better whole-of-system customer and community outcomes.

Thimo Mueller is the General Manager of AEMO Services’ Commercial Team, responsible for the design and implementation of our competitive tender processes. The Commercial Team also plays a key role in fostering our relationships with the investor and developer community and working closely with these stakeholders in the design of sophisticated financial products and contracts.
These processes are used to deliver on the NSW Government’s Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap and the Australian Government’s Capacity Investment Scheme.
Thimo has over 20 years’ experience in the energy sector, working as an investor in multiple countries across renewable, storage and thermal technologies. His experience spans from working in a start-up energy business to working at globally recognised organisations like RWE and the World Bank.
In these organisations, Thimo has been responsible for a number of high-profile projects such as delivering RWE’s $5b transformation and restructuring program, developing a 2030 Integrated Energy Strategy for the Dubai Government, and managing the development and funding of energy projects in the Pacific, including micro-grids and thermal power for impoverished communities.
Thimo holds a Master of Business Administration and Economics from Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg.

Thomas leads AEMO Services' Stakeholder Relations and Communications function, which includes all external and corporate affairs. Thomas has extensive experience in advocacy, communications and campaigns with a focus on regional Australia and prior to joining AEMO Services, served in a senior role leading major transport infrastructure and policy advice for the Deputy Prime Minister of Australia.
Thomas holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts from Macquarie University.

Andrew Hardman is responsible for leading AEMO Services' Financial Markets function. The Financial Markets team focuses on derivative design, maximising consumer value, the identification and mitigation of financial risks and fostering our relationships with the financier community, to help accelerate project plans into new energy infrastructure.
Andrew has 30 years' experience in senior positions at banking and financial institutions in Australia and the United Kingdom, including NAB, Westpac and Lloyds Bank. He has also had engagements across Asia, Europe and North America.
He has a strong background in financial markets, deep advisory, structuring and execution capabilities across energy, commodities, and foreign exchange and commodities. His interest in energy markets, along with his personal sustainability values, led him to join AEMO Services in 2022, where he applies his skills to drive Australia’s energy transformation.
Andrew is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, he holds a Bachelor of Business (Finance & Marketing) from University of Technology Sydney and has post graduate qualifications (Certificate in Innovation & Entrepreneurship) from Stanford University.

Melanie Koerner is responsible for leading AEMO Services’ System Planning and Renewable Energy Zone authorisation function.
In this role, Melanie leads the development of Infrastructure Investment Objectives Reports – our blueprint for meeting NSW’s future electricity needs and the authorisation of new Renewable Energy Zone transmission infrastructure.
Melanie has joined AEMO Services with twenty years’ of experience as a consultant, leading transformation in Australia’s energy sector, with a focus on policy design, regulatory reform and business case development within emerging and existing energy markets. She has previously worked in a consulting capacity across the sector including for regulated network businesses, energy retail companies, energy market bodies and government.
Melanie has a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) from the University of Adelaide.

Riste has accrued a breadth of experience in the energy and heavy industry sectors, having held a range of roles in AEMO, Ausgrid, AGL and BlueScope Steel.
In these organisations, Riste excelled in senior leadership roles responsible for service delivery, contract management, procurement and commercial.
At AEMO Services Riste is responsible for the contract management function and identifying and actioning processes and systems to enhance our operational efficiency and resilience, as we scale up to deliver our NSW Roadmap and Capacity Investment Scheme (CIS) functions.
Riste holds a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Economics and Finance from the University of Wollongong.

Deanne Slade is responsible for leading AEMO Services’ Governance & Risk division which comprises of the Risk, Compliance, Audit, Legal and Company Secretary functions.
Deanne has more than 20 years of corporate experience within the real estate, legal and banking and finance services sectors. Deanne has a track record of driving strong business performance and has led diverse cross-functional teams to deliver transformational change.
Deanne joins AEMO Services from AEMO, where she has held leadership roles as Group Manager, Risk and Compliance, and Manager, Finance and Governance.
Prior to joining AEMO, Deanne worked in senior roles within the Retail Banking and Group Finance, Transformation and Operations divisions during nearly a decade at the Bank of Queensland.
Deanne holds a Diploma of Business Administration and is a qualified Justice of the Peace. Deanne is currently a member of AEMO Group’s Protective Security Committee and attends the AEMO Services Risk, Compliance and Audit Committee.
