Social Licence Merit and Eligibility Criteria

To support proponents to prepare high quality bids, further guidance has been published which highlights good practice across land use considerations, regional economic development, community engagement and shared benefits. This document provides additional useful context for proponents in relation to the merit and eligibility criteria.

Proponents are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the broader objectives of the NSW Renewable Energy Sector Board and First Nations Guidelines. The First Nations Guidelines and Renewable Energy Sector Board’s plan informed the Consumer Trustee’s development of the social licence eligibility and merit criteria in our tenders.
